COCA pays both sides, but only after the person you invite actually uses the card at three different shops. It is one of the stricter conditions in this list, and the programme is currently paused for new signups.

How the Coca Card referral system works
COCA gives you a referral link in the app. A brand new user signs up through it, orders a virtual or physical COCA card, and then has 30 days to spend $100 in total across at least three different merchants. Once that is done you get $20 and they get $10, both in USDC or EURC. Since 26 August 2026 COCA has paused new referral signups while it rebuilds the flow, though referrals started before the pause can still finish and pay out.
Getting the reward, step by step
- 1Copy your referral link or code from the COCA app
- 2Send it to someone who has never used COCA
- 3They sign up through the link and order a card
- 4They spend $100 in total across at least 3 different merchants
- 5All of that has to happen within 30 days of them registering
- 6You get $20 and they get $10 in stablecoins
What has to happen before you get paid
- The person must be completely new to COCA
- They must order a virtual or physical card
- Cumulative $100 spend across at least 3 different merchants
- Everything must be completed within 30 days of registration
- New referral signups are paused as of 26 August 2026
Payout timing. Credited to your COCA balance on the 10th of the month after all the steps are completed.
