The claim vs. the reality

Coca advertises "up to" 8% cashback and 50% cashback on subscriptions like Netflix and Spotify. The phrase "up to" does a lot of heavy lifting.

  • Actual: 1% cashback on all purchases up to $10,000
  • Cashback paid in USDC on the 10th of each month
  • 5% APY on stablecoins
  • No 50% subscription discounts at base tier

Real FX cost & conversion spread

The promise is "zero FX fees on direct pairs", which means a fee is applied here.

  • Baseline market cost: $1.48 (true mid-market rate)
  • Actual deducted charge: $1.50
  • Hidden spread: 1.18% markup above mid-market
  • With the 1% cashback, Coca is effectively a 0% fee card for the first $10,000 spent monthly

The verdict

Coca lands at the top because it pairs a fully non-custodial architecture with stablecoin cashback that actually cancels out its spread. One tier upgrade makes it the strongest card in the test.

Score: 9.2 out of 10

Strengths

  • Good perks
  • Stablecoin cashback up to $10,000/month
  • Best card with just one upgrade

Weaknesses

  • "Up to" marketing on higher tiers

Who ranks these cards

I'm Tristyn Pawson, founder of ConsistenC.xyz. Over the last five years I've worked on marketing, development and growth across five crypto cards and neobanks, building at least three of them from scratch.

Alongside that I've run in-depth research on 20+ crypto banks to understand what actually makes someone keep a card in their wallet. These rankings reflect that: which problems are tolerable, and which ones are genuine deal breakers.
